Ingredients
Instructions
-
- Preheat oven to 350*F. Prepare a 9x13 pan with cooking spray.
- Melt the 2 sticks of butter in a medium size saucepan over medium-low heat.
- Remove pan from heat and stir in the 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and 2 cups of sugar. Stir until the mixture is smooth.
- Add the eggs (4), one at a time and mixing well in between additions.
- Stir in 2 tsp. of vanilla extract.
- This next step I prefer to add the dry ingredients right into the wet ingredients to cut down on dirty dishes. However if you prefer a separate bowl to mix all the dry ingredients together before adding to the wet ingredients, feel free to do so. Add 1 cup of flour, 2/3 cup of cocoa powder, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tsp of baking powder.
- DO NOT over mix the batter! It's fine if there's a few small clumps of powder left in the pan.
- Pour the powder into the prepared 9x13 dish and bake until a toothpick comes out clean, or almost clean. I prefer a little bit of brownie to be left on the toothpick to ensure a nice fudgy brownie. Timing will vary based on your oven. Bake for 30-38 minutes
